I recently made the personal decision to move away from petroleum-based products in my home. One item I rely on heavily during cold season is Vicks VapoRub, so I went looking for a cleaner alternative and decided to try this chest rub. The scent is pleasant and very eucalyptus-forward. It does help with very mild nasal congestion and feels gentle on the skin. However, if you’re dealing with significant congestion, it doesn’t have the strong menthol “kick” that Vicks provides. This product still has a place in my home. It’s gentle enough for use on kids and sensitive skin, which I appreciate. It just didn’t meet my expectations as a true Vicks replacement. If you’re specifically looking for something comparable in strength to Vicks, this may not be it. But for light congestion or a milder option, it could still work well. Pros: • Clean ingredient list • Pleasant, eucalyptus-heavy scent • Suitable for very light congestion • Gentle for children and sensitive skin Cons: • Not strong enough for moderate to severe nasal congestion A good option for gentle relief, but not a one-to-one replacement for Vicks.

Excellent product, nice smell and size is very practical. Also the feeling when using it is very pleasant.

It’s not exactly the same scent as Vick’s but it’s much healthier and it helped with my chest congestion. As a bonus it also helped me sleep! I recommend it! I’ve used it at least two weeks and have barely made a dent in the amount of salve! This will last me a long time!

My fault for not reading the ingredients before purchase. I searched for vegan organic chest rub and this had all the icons and so on to make it appear vegan. This has beeswax, which for me, takes it out of vegan qualification. Still, I have used the product twice. It is very solid. You cannot just use your fingers to get much out. So I rubbed in the small amounts on my chest. The aroma is too light. The second night I used my thumb to dig into the product and I got more out. I used what seemed to be a good amount but again it wasn't strong enough to notice the aroma. The first night, my sinuses were more clogged than when I went to bed. The second night, my breathing was clearer. If I put my nose into my nightshirt, I can smell the balm, I would like it a lot more if that odor would be stronger.

I was looking for something in this realm and I found this badger product. Worked well, I went and bought their sunscreen lotion. Badger has earned my respect and loyalty.
