Excellent fit and quality on 2019 Ram Classic 5.7
Pan fit my 2019 Ram 5.7 Classic perfectly, instructions were good and everything was there. Pan felt very robust, I’m not worried at all about integrity. This pan had four magnets, I read that many other aftermarket replacements only have two. I feel price is fair, quality seemed top notch.

Perfect fit good quality
I was a little nervous about buying this pan as it was very reasonably priced compared to other on market. I went ahead with the purchase in hopes it would last a month or two. My intention was to use the pan for a first flush on my 2018 with 135,000 miles on it. Like many, I listened to the dealership telling me it was lifetime transmission fill, a sealed transmission, and would cost &1,200 plus dollars for them to service, etc. thus the 135,000 miles without a flush. This pan fit perfectly, didn’t leak from pan or pan drain bolt, and performed well. My thought on short use was the transmission holds 8.3 quart but replacing the pan only removes 5.3 quarts leaving 3 quarts in the transmission with 135,000 miles on it. I have since replace the pan with a PPE aluminum pan that holds an additional 2 quarts of fluid. For those that are having the same issues that I was experiencing (shifting issues between 1st and 2nd gear on cold first start of day only), the flush made a significant improvement and final change too PPE pan and fluid change restored my trucks performance to the same as when first purchased new). These transmissions never performed perfectly on the first start of the day, are clunky but don't shutter or miss-shift at low speed when cold. This pan is not constructed to the same specifications as the manufacturers so you will need to use the bolt supplied with the pan for attaching (the bolt head is smaller then OEM) the pan seams to be constructed as well as OEM and performed without any issues.

Very impressed for the price!
It has been a couple weeks now since I installed this pan/filter. This product was well made and had all the parts. It was easy to put in and I have had no leaks. I do recommend giving the drain plug a little tightening before filling it up. The fit was spot on and the gasket was of high quality. If anything changed I will update my review accordingly.

Direct Fit for 845RE transmission
Good fit, Good price, Good quality. used on: 2014 Ram 1500, 3.6l, 2wd, 8spd transmission. Only thing worth noting is the original pan has three magnets inside, this appeared only to have 1.

Great quality, tough job on Grand Cherokee
This is a great product. Excellent quality, packaging, and fit up. Info about how to perform the changing of the oil pan and fluid is available on Youtube. Beware that this is a major pain in the butt to perform on a 2018 Grand Cherokee due to the limited access to some of the 13 bolts that secure the oil pan. It took me about seven hours to perform this job in my driveway. Much of that time was spent on my back trying to get the old bolts out and the new bolts in. Forget about trying to use a torque wrench to secure the new bolts at 12 NM, there is no space for the torque wrench. You must have size 40 torx L wrenchs, size 40 torx sockets, and vice grips to remove and install the bolts. The L wrench works on some bolts and the socket / vice grip combo works on others.

If you have a grand Cherokee, get a 90deg T40 wrench
All in all great product. I’m a 30yr diesel tech and don’t stray far from OEM normally, but for the price and reviews I wrote before, I decided to give this pan a chance. Other reviewers are correct, TAKE YOUR TIME, TORQUE the bolts, and clean all surfaces. Then you will be just fine. My Snapon torque wrench only goes down to 6.8Nm, (spec in directions is 4Nm +90 deg) for bolt torque. I did the 6.8 and was not able to quite get 90deg with my little T40 angle wrench, but they’re all the same torque near what they want, most important is the torque sequence so it lays flat. You’re holding fluid in a pan, not holding back thousands of pounds of hydraulic fluid, so common sense here. They’re is no rocket science to the seal, this pan is indistinguishable from the factory, same heat fins, same drain plug, same thickness, filter as part of pan, and also has magnets in the pan (as the factory also does) to catch the clutch plate wear materials. My main recommendation is if you have a grand Cherokee (not sure about RAM, etc) you will absolutely need a very poor access T40 angle wrench to get the 4 bolts closest to the torque converter side of the trans. A 1/4” or 3/8” with any wobbly will not work, period. I tried them all, I have them all. I put a pic of the T40 you want, I’m sure you can find it on Amazon for $10 or less. You can use valvoline ULV fluid, but there’s not much price difference for what people are selling the correct mopar 8/9 spd trans oil for. I picked up 7qts for $99. I have had guys (and myself) try max life and non ULV fluid and completely ruined the transmission in only 11 miles (shifting gets jacked up and smashed wrong gears, plus slipping) and will then cost $6k (for just 11 miles of driving) for a rebuild. So yeah, just run the right fluid for $99 instead of 6 grand for a trans rebuild. I bought 7 qts mopar fluid for my grand Cherokee; but found out the drain/refill (not flushing lines, cooler, TC) you only need 3 qts. Since I have 4 quarts left, I’ll drive it for an oil change 3-5k and I’ll drain and refill one more time with remaining fluid. This will be sufficient for the next 70k and I’ll service pan gasket again at that time. Also there is a small quart hand pump they sell for like $9 and it works perfect to pump the quarts into the fill hole. There is no way (even with valvoline quart bags) you will get it in there, so just buy that slick little hand pump and your job will go great, and will functions perfect and no leaks. You’ll still save yourself like $600 by doing it yourself. Double check the transmission cooler lines running along side the pan also as they’re prone to rub and make a hole in the line, may need to tweak them slightly so they don’t rub (it’s this way on the factory pan also). Take your time, do it RIGHT and you’ll be fine with this pan. Pleasantly surprised how good (identical) it is to factory pan/gasket.

The pan fit perfectly. I took the time to carefully scrub the mating surface with 99 alcohol and green abrasive pad and not get any dirt inside the transmission. I rubbed fresh transmission oil along the gasket to wet it for a better seal. I pressed the gasket down to make sure it was seated correctly in the groves of the pan. I put all of the bolts in hand tight to not risk stripping. Then I began gently tightening each bolt around the pan. Then went around one last time tightening firmly. I will say that everything looked just like the original, except for the gasket. The gasket is janky and not well formed. Thankfully I had no leaks. I'm really happy I went with this because my old pan magnets had plenty of fine iron on them and I'm sure it needed a new filter. After 142k km the atf on my ram 1500 was very dark and I'm sure full of fine particles. This pan was really inexpensive and aside from the janky gasket, I think will work great. I drained the fluid into a pale, and then got an identical pale and filled it to the same line (slightly above to accomodate a bit of spilling). This way I knew exactly how much to put back in. I pumped it in until some came out and then started the truck which allowed me to quickly pump the rest in while it was running. The automatic transmission has been much smoother. I intend to drain the fluid one more time on the next oil change and repeat the process. Also for my ram there's an exhaust pipe just below the drain plug and an allan key cant fit to open it. I said screw it and wrapped electrical tape around a drill bit 1/4 inch from the tip and drilled through the old pan. The tape stopped the bit so it couldn't hit the transmission. This way the oil drained cleanly into the pale without trying to shave down an Alan key to fit above the exhaust pipe.

For the price, absolutely amazing! Direct fit with new torx fasteners. The filter looks a little cheap but it is what it is. Been on for several months and no issues with leaks or quality. Very happy with this purchase. First picture is new pan. Second is old pan. Just under 292,000km at time of install. Some sparkles in there but no liberal trans issues to report. Used Mopar 8 & 9 speed fluid
