It covers well, it is oily and a bit on the heavy side. It was slightly orange but blendable. I was able to make it work and it helped in the healing process

I’ve been suffering from cold sores since childhood to the point where I’m on medication to control them. I always am looking for ways to cover or conceal an outbreak especially when I have something to do in public or even when I will just be around people. I was so optimistic that this product would be helpful based on the description and the price. Usually more expensive items seem to work better. Not this time. I honestly feel like this did little to nothing. You have to use a ton of it to feel and notice the coverage and then it looks caked on, discolored, and still draws attention. Covering it up with more makeup on top only added to the depth of the area. I tried reapplying several times just to see if I could get it to work, and it was a waste of time and energy. If you know the feeling of dealing with a nasty, long lasting cold sore, spare yourself any more frustration and don’t bother trying this product. As seen in other reviews, store bought makeup concealers would do the exact same thing. And if the cold sore is even partially on your lip (where majority of cold sores pop up) nothing will cover or hide it well enough because it will always be discolored from your lip shade. I was so sad and disappointed, so I hope this can help someone else avoid a waste of time and money.

I bought this product because I needed something to help conceal a cold sore without it being too noticeable, and honestly, I was surprised. The texture is smooth and easy to apply; it doesn't feel heavy on the lips. The coverage is quite good; it helps hide the redness and makes it look much more discreet. I apply around my eyes and even on my entire face. then I smooth gently with a makeup sponge and apply my powder and blush.. This gives my skin a smooth look without feeling too heavy. It's great!!

I was so certain this would not work as most concealers do not. I was shocked! Coverage was smooth and you couldn’t even tell I was having an issue. Unfortunately, I’m one of those people that the minute I become sick I get a cold sore and this one was particularly awful. I didn’t even know this product existed and found on Amazon purely by accident. I never post reviews but this is a game changer for sure. It’s worth every penny!!
