Will it light anthracite in a multifuel stove without using kindling ?

Absolutely. It will light anthracite; in all its size grades beans, pea bean, large bean, small grain, large grain, small nut and large nut. And it will light ANY other smokeless solid fuel, regardless of the degree of difficulty AND without kindling or lighting fluid. Grenadier will light anthracite, "HomeFire Traditional" large hexagonal briquettes, "HomeFire Ovals", "HomeFire ECoal50", "Phurnacite", "Stoveheat", "Taybrite", "Excel", "Stoveflame Plus", "Newburn" and "Multiheat". The only noticeable difference is the time it takes to incandesce and then burst the first flame at the chosen point of ignition on your grate. It takes 2 minutes to burst the flame on some, or maybe 5 minutes on large anthracite nuts. But you will not need kindling and it will save you time and frustration and the end result is also a cleaner grate, as smokeless ash is all you will have there. Dead easy! Seriously!

Could it be used to kill weeds in paving?

No to do this could be dangerous as you will be heating up the stone beneath the weed which could explode especially if its concrete based.

I have one of these grenadier fire lighters , but i need a new key. do you have replacement keys that i can buy ?

The manufacturer (Grenadier Firelighters Ltd in Chester) sells a full selection of spare parts, including the key. It's a good company - you just need to go to their web site to find what you need.

How long is the electric lead?

Approxiamately 1.8metres. The grenadier is a great product.
