This enameled cast iron chicken / turkey roaster/baking dish is perfect for roasting turkey or lamb, cooking lasagna, or baking roast potatoes all thanks to the even heat distribution and superior heat retention of its cast iron core. The pan can easily tolerate high heat -up to 500°F- in the oven, which would result in perfectly crispy dishes. Inside of the pan is coated with 3-layers of Dexart signature black matte enamel finish and does not need to be seasoned. Outside enamel coating is highly resistant to chipping or cracking. Large, cast-in handles add to the durability of the pan. Review: Inside is not enameled - Thought the inside was enameled as well as the outside, but it turns out it's not.
