And at this price.... a bargain. Arrived loosely coiled inside a flat cardboard box (bit bigger than Amazon's DVD packaging), but still fitted through the letterbox slot, so not even bothered by the postman. Good job, that seller. EDIT: It's been securing the vinyl cover on my folding camper trailer for 15 months now. Been unhooked and hooked perhaps 50 times. I've towed it 5000miles, mostly at 50 to 60mph, and it's lived outdoors in full weather all that time. And this cord is not even showing signs of any fraying or weathering. It might be cheap, but it's top notch quality too. TIP: I learned decades ago, that when you cut nylon (like the outer braided covering here) you should use a lighter or match to melt the end strands together. That stops them fraying. Otherwise, the braid will unravel, at least to the locking knot you put in, but quite possibly further.

Used this to renew the ratty old hold-downs on our canal-boat covers. This size is good combination of strength , extensibility and robustness - easy to work with, too. Ask again in 5 years' time and we can discuss how it weathers. The only problem was that it took 4 weeks to arrive, but Covid has made everyone's job so much more difficult. Would have helped if the initial apology for delay had been relevant to this particular deal, but hey - I've got the kit, it does the job perfectly, and the price was very reasonable. Hint to prospective purchasers - get more than you think you'll need, this stuff has many uses.

Good value bulk purchase of thick elastic cord. Purchased for replacement of elastic used for securing a trailer cover. There is ample length for my 5ft X 4ft trailer. The cord is easy to cut to required length. The cord appears to be holding up well to the weather, my trailer being stored outdoors and retains its elasticity after a few years.

Cut into two 5m pieces, one piece used to replace the Elastic Bungee Cord on trailer cover. Cord tied together very easily. Pleased with my purchase.

The stretch and tension retainment properties are as expected and on point. Where the product causes issues is when being used with hook anchors. Despite heat treatment of the cord end to seal the fibres and casing a separation and stretching of the casing occurs that affects the integrity of the hook anchoring. Consequently this needs checking regularly and is a nuisance (and potentially dangerous) when in use during travelling to anchor items.

Bought to replace the cord on my trailer cover and it is doing the job perfectly. I crimped the 2 ends together and it has been in constant use for quite a while.

Not as thick as I expected but very good product.
