Great product - the Nalgenes hold up when dropped, unlike other brands that crack or break the first time they're dropped. Withstands multiple cleanings and dishwasher runs. Seals great - no leaks!! Easy to clean. No over-complicated mouthpiece - just a simple opening that's easy to use. No dopey straw that only works at certain angles. I had the same product for over 7 years until it finally died, this one is going on 3 years already!

Obsessed with this water bottle! Top goes on tight and doesn’t leak! Thought I wouldn’t like the hole on the cap and was worried it doesn’t have a straw but, actually like it better!! Big enough for the amount water I need to drink but is perfect for taking with me! Fits in the car cup holder !! Highly recommend this bottle!!

I work in special education and my students will frequently pick up my water bottle and drink before I can intercept, LOL! The two step process to open this is really quick and easy but the slender latch is not obvious to my students. It's like having a secret lock. PROS: The cap is easy to clean and the cap and bottle are dishwasher safe. It's light. It is easy to carry. I have used it everyday for over a month and I have had zero spills/leaks!!! No one is getting hurt if it "falls" (gets thrown) like the big stainless steel water bottles Cons: It only stays cold a few hours. For me, the great price, and BPA-free, heavy duty plastic over ride that. I just use 2 a day and keep the second one in my lunch cooler. Let's face it, even if it gets warm, it's better than the drinking fountain.

Fits in cupbolders, easy to use and durable, but always use the metal wire safety on the lid. If you don’t flip that wire over the latch this thing automatically opens when it tips over. Don’t even have to drop it, just knock it over on a surface and it starts gushing. My only complaint.

Needed a smaller water bottle for my day bag I use for work. This turned out to be a perfect option. I recommend ALWAYS using the metal clip to secure the cap closed during transport. The bottle is easy to fill, drink from, and clean. Very satisfied.

These are the best plastic water bottles. Idk why they don’t sell them in many stores. The only plastic bottles we buy for the whole family. Can open and close with one hand. They lock and are leak proof. Best of all, the mouth piece is COVERED by the flip top so it isn’t exposed to as much grossness when you carry it around. Most of them last for years. Sometimes if they’re dropped the metal lock breaks, but that can happen to any bottle. I bet we have bought over 20 of these for our family in various sizes and colors over the last 10 years. Also, the top works with the kids camel b brand of bottle. So easy to clean. No straw.

I kind of expected this so I ended up buying a CapCap for the bottle, but the cap that comes with this is just janky. The mechanism to open it is unreliable and needs fiddling with sometimes. if you've ever used a Contigo you'd be very disappointed. That said, the bottle fits in a cupholder and holds a reasonable amount of water for day-to-day. With a replacement aftermarket cap it's the best solution. Great Nalgene quality for the bottle itself. I'm not sure I like that the volume markings on the side are on a flat surface - it makes the bottle feel weird, the bottle isn't completely round. Just a tactile thing, I'm quibbling. Good price and Nalgene has been the most reliable for me when it comes to plastic containers so I'm sticking with what works. Camelbak bottles have a dumb lit too (the old one was so much better) and they cost more. Metal bottles are only worth the extra price if you need the insulation. So as far as water bottles that hold at least 24oz and fit in a cupholder this is kind of it.

Generally great. I've used it in many countries. Streamlined design that fits nicely into the pockets of hiking daypacks or into the cup holders in cars. Over time though (after considerable use), the clasp securing the bottle does come undone with even a slight knock after taking many a drop

Why did you choose this product over others?: Just the best possible bottle. Impossible to damage. I bought new one just because the previous one was stolen. It's been with me on a bike, in a car, on hikes, festivals, office days, anywhere. No leaking, perfect size, fits all the bottle/cup holders, no smells. And I can open it with 1 hand :)

C'est ma seconde gourde Nalgène... J'ai remplacé la première achetée il y a plus de 10 ans et qui a été utilisée un nombre incalculable de fois. Jamais eu le moindre problème de fuite. Mais j'avais envie de renouveller celle ci et j'ai donc choisi ce modèle qui est identique et tout aussi performant. Je recommande vivement cette marque !
