Genuine item that was the ONLY one I found that was guaranteed to work with my label maker model and it does! So glad I went with the more expensive but genuine item!

I have the PT Embellish and wanted to buy a charger instead of buying batteries for it due to the cost and the weight batteries would add to the unit. I also didn't want to buy an off brand charger for fear it wouldn't fit my Embellish. None of the off brand chargers specifically stated that they would fit the Embellish so I didn't want to risk it. This is working great for my purposes and I'm glad I got this instead of batteries!

Why dink around with batteries, when you can use a plug. Worked fine.

I have owned a BROTHER label maker for a few years. I was disappointed that an adaptor was not included in the box at the time of purchase. So, I ended up buying and using quite a number of batteries to use in my label maker. Recently, I finally built up enough nerve to purchase an adaptor. I’m so happy to have an adaptor…now, the adaptor will help me save money by not having to get batteries anymore! I’m glad to have an adaptor. My label maker is happy, too!

My only complaint is the cost! I think it is very crappy for Brother to not include a power cord for the labelers because they EAT batteries and then charge so much for a power cord (which BTW, is special because they REVERSE the poles making 99% of other options useless, which again, shame on them). It works great at least, and now I just have to find an outlet to plug in, wait one second, and then print out labels as needed. At least I'm saving on batteries and not having to through them in the trash...

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

Don't bother with the knock-offs - get this power supply if you want your labeler to last. Quality you would expect from Brother.
