Are these gloves meant as an inner layer or can I use them by themselves?

Yes, you CAN physically wear them without gloves. BUT If you're boxing, I would recommend wearing them inside gloves. If you are using them for MMA or UFC then you don't wear gloves. There is padding across the top of the knuckles and an elastic band to wrap around your wrist a few times and Velcro.

My 4mm padded gloves not fitting in 16oz boxing gloves. Are these thin padded, do they fit in 16 oz boxing gloves?
