Does anyone use this in wet rainy climates? We have to shower daily as muddy paddock /mud fever. Want something to reduced cracks in hooves.

I am in South Dakota. We are fairly dry in the summer, but lots of snow and mush in the winter...so lots of mud. I use the hoof heal twice a week on my horses and have for the last year and a half. It seems to keep a good balance in the hoof during the wet season here. Their feet look great as well. No cracks and lots of good growth. :)

It is hard to answer this question, as many variables ride on it. How long this product lasts depends on how often you use it, and how much you use at each use. If you only use it once a week, and do not apply generously, the product can last for at least 4+ months.

you recommend it for a pig that has cracks in its hooves?

It worked for the cracks in my horses hooves. I see no reason it wouldn’t work on pigs feet. But I know nothing about pigs

Will this help with a cracked hoof? Or do I need something else in addition to this

It’s best to ask your farrier or vet. I’ve used this product for many years now, and my farrier comments often how he appreciates the condition of the hooves. Yes, there have been cracks that resolved as the hoof grew but again, be safe and get all the info you can from your professionals.
