I like the flavor of chili, but I can't take the heat! At least I can't take too much heat. These gochugaru flakes are a great alternative to chili flakes because they are not nearly as spicy but have a great smoky chili flavor. I add four or five times as much of these as the chili flakes I used to use, which means I get a lot of flavor and color without making my food too spicy for me to eat! Also, eight ounces is a big container (bigger than a Coke can), so even though I use a lot, these will last me for a while, which means these are great value for money, too.

Spice is very mild just perfect! Great quality and very fresh for being a dry product. Bought it to make cucumber kimchi, and taste great. The size of package is great for your money's worth!

This stuff tastes good, but (to me) it's very mild. The color is a gorgeous red that POPS! It's a very versatile pepper seasoning. I use it in more than just Korean cooking. I'd definitely like it if it were a bit spicier though!

I have a lot of recipes that call for korean chilli powder or flakes and this was absolutely perfect for them. The flavor is great and it is not overly spicy. 20/10 in quality.

It's a red pepper so it's gonna be spicy!! Not much to say about it. The product arrived in good order, the grind size of the pepper is just right for my needs. The source is free flowing, no clumps or moisture issues. The flavor is spot on for what this product is and I use it all the time in my Korean noodles. I'm a wuss though, so I use a 1/4 of the amount that any of my recipes call for because I can only handle gentle heat. 😄 This should last me forever, but should I actually run out, I will definitely order it again.
