Brilliant backpack. Our 4.5kg dog gets tired easily so this was perfect whilst walking in Northumberland. Looked happy & was comfortable

A great little bag for a not so well pup when we took her on a trip to the lakes. The size was as described and it seemed to be good value for what we needed it for! The only slight issue we had is that she was able to push herself up and almost lift herself out of the bag as she wanted to be running around 🫣 but overall it lasted for what we needed it for and was fit for its intended use. Allowed me to bring my pet with me on our hike 🚶‍♀️🥾🗻

Takes a bit of patience as our Westie really wasn’t sure about getting in. Safe and secure once in as you can clip them into it. I added a small blanket/towel to pad out the bottom so it was comfortable for him. The size we chose was perfect for a Westie, weight is around 9kg. The arm holes are uncomfortable for him so he just rests them on my shoulders instead.

This is a great idea, brought up to date now with the addition of a waist belt. I use this for cycling with my 15kg Staffie, I didn't think she'd like it but she really does. We cycle abroad quite a bit and it really turns heads. The bag is quite well made but is prone to ripping at certain stress points, like the area where mesh meets the nylon fabric. Chest strap can be a bit flaky too, popping off of one side when you least expect it. We give these bags a fairly hard time through the year and expect to replace it annually. It's a good idea to have help when putting this on with your dog in it, fighting with the weight and the straps can be difficult - same with taking it off, it's better for the dog if someone else holds them whilst you get out of the straps. The most I ride at a time with the pup is about 10 miles, after that you'll probably be feeling the effects. This isn't made like a hiking rucksack, its more your everyday picnic/school bag. For me, 15kg is as much as I want to carry, beyond that and the thin straps will bring on various pains.

Sizing isn’t accurate and the quality is poor. My dog is uncomfortable in the rucksack and it makes it feel like he’s going to fall because of the poor quality

This dog carrier backpack is fantastic! I took it on holiday for my 10-year-old Westie, and she loved it. I’m returning this for a larger size, I bought a size bigger (L) on review advice, need 2 sizes bigger (XL) for my little springer spaniel 12.3 kg Quality is good, just size, buy 2x up
