How is it activated？

Hello~, When the key is turned to the alarm lock, it will start to detect vibration and movement to issue alarm sound.

How do you unlock this product without setting off the alarm? Do you just have to deal with the loud sound each time until you get the key inserted?

Yes but you can do it quickly to avoid the lengthy noise or you don’t have to put the alarm all the time, I mostly put the alarm when I’m not home or at night

How long are the batteries going to last in alarmed position?

So far I had Thai padlock for some time now and haven’t replaced it yet.

Can the batteries be removed when "armed?"

I have not removed mine as yet but I would think it’s best to disarm, then replace and armed your padlock
