A Touch of Farmhouse Charm: Easy DIY Projects to Add a Warm and Rustic Feel to Any Room

I had been looking for a book with the farmhouse chic look in it, that I could apply to my own house. This book was it! It has lots of DIY projects that are so easy to do, and actually look great! The pictures in the book cover every room in your house, and give you beautiful pictures to show you how and what to do to use the ideas written about in the book. I hope that the author writes another book to follow this one, as I will be first in line to purchase it!

Great book for antiqueing ideas to make items in ur home feel and look naturally old . It also not only gives you ideas but gives you a detailed description of how to build and the materials needed to build it and its measurements. Whats best is most of these things are easy and inexpensive.

I love this book! I was worried because a few of the reviews were not great, so when I received the book I was pleasantly surprised. Its a pretty book with lots of DIY projects. As one person said, you can find it all online, but isn't that really true about everything? I think of books like art - if your happy looking at art online than maybe it's not for you. I love books and this one is a great addition. Only wish it was hardcover and I love the projects - wish they included pics of the project in a room, not just close ups. Love it and would definitely buy it again!

This is a good how- to book for beginning to advanced diy. Reading it, I am sure i can arrange a ladies get together where we can work on some of these ideas. However, being an avid DIYer, I had to chuckle at how many of these ideas I've already done- even the advanced ones. Most of these exact projects are saved on my Pinterest boards. But this is not the fault of the author- I should have been more aware when I bought it. The ideas are good (although some fresh content would have been nice), the pictures bright and lovely, and it's nice to look at this without ads bombarding my phone.

Looking to get that Farmhouse look on a budget and like DYI? This is a great book full of ideas and great projects. Most books in this genre are full of beautiful pictures, but achieving many of the looks can be a big challenge. Ms. Fourez really brings to life the details that help you get the look. And her projects are actually pretty easy but with big impact (and no, it's not a bunch of projects turning pallets into stuff).

Love this book, love her taste, love the way she decorates, and love the Simplicity of all of the projects. I don't think there's more than one that I would not be inspired or have the skill set to do. So I am looking forward to giving some of these a try because they are all current and have a real impact on The Farmhouse look.

There are a few cute ideas and the instructions were good. I was hoping for more inspirational pictures, however it was just a few instructions for projects. Save yourself the money and just look on pinterest.

This is my new favorite book! I LOVE IT! So many wonderful photos and ideas along with great instructions to do them yourself. Easy stuff! I will definitely be doing many of the awesome projects in this book. OH the ideas are are forming and making my head spin with inspiration!!!

This is the one book that I had been meaning to get, I had seen it reviewed on quite a few blogs and really wanted to see if it was as good as the hype. Yes, the photographs are stunning and the projects are all well laid out with cutting lists for wood, tools needed to complete the project, and a rating of ease to construct. The projects themselves are all things that I would like to make. I liked Liz's chatty style of writing, and her ideas encouraged me to think where I could adapt some of them and use elsewhere. This book is now a firm favourite.
