Mens Hiking Convertible Pants Outdoor Waterproof Quick Dry Zip Off Lightweight Fishing Pants

The pants are made of a stretchy material, thin and lightweight. They are extremely comfortable when squatting or leaning over as a material stretches over all the important parts. Overall they're comfortable and well fitting. I wear a 29 length inseam so I ordered the 30 length inseam and they are just right. Waist size fit to size. As an added bonus there was a $5 bill in one of the pants pockets. It appears the pair of pants I got had been returned and the previous owner forgot to check their pockets . Lucky me! It remains to be seen how durable the material is as it is so lightweight . Will soon find out as I'm going on a hiking trip into Montana and the Yellowstone.

I went traveling around Asia and Oceania for a year and two pairs of these were basically all I wore non-stop. Being cargo, these are very convenient for travel with all the pockets, and I did not have to carry any additional shorts or pants with me. Here is what went wrong in a year of very heavy use: 1. The waterproofing worked well initially, but after many washes it stopped in about 6 months. Was very handy while lasted. 2. One of the 4 main side pockets (2 per pair) developed a small hole in the lining in about 9-10 months. 3. Zipper pocket on one pair stopped working seamlessly and would not close past 2/3 in 9 months or so. Otherwise, they held up solidly. I am very satisfied with the quality and value, and actually bought 2 more pairs to replace the originals. Great travel companions.

I really loved these pants. They aren't "waterproof" but water tends to bead right off of them. They were super light and breathable. The fabric was pretty strong but did tear. They fit super long which is great for me as a tall man. They're certainly fit for the tall slender type. Also, they're pretty flexible.

I love these pants. I wore them to Costa Rica and they were fantastic. They dry super fast, are light weight and make excellent shorts if you want to use the convertible function. I continue to wear them regularly as every day wear as well 👍

I have multiple pair, I now wear them daily. Nice(r) places or activities immaterial. Oh, I live in the PNW. Active/Outdoor wear is commonplace in most atmospheres. 🤷‍♂️ Hold on, my wife likes seeing me in them. I feel like I'm wearing pajama pants in public. Size and fit are spot on, with strong elastic around the rear quarters of the pant keeping things in place without unnecessary restriction. Plenty of pockets and pocket space without being too over the top. Strong, durable, fabric, zippers, and seams make these a perfect choice for adventures in the wild or the mild.

Love these fishing Pants. Comfy and dries in minutes if wet. I wear them fishing and the material doesn’t make me sweat in high temps. I have 3 pair. Love em all!

I wore these up and down a mountain over 3 days last summer and liked them. Just bought a different color. I like the copious cargo packets on the legs, the deep hand pockets, and the two zippered rear pockets. You can zip off the lower legs of course, which is how I wore them, as shorts. They dried fast in the little rain we had. Stretchy waist and good belt loops. I wear 32w 30l jeans, and these in the same size fit great. Taking them again this year and will wear on plane, too. Good buy.

There seems to be some contradiction in the reviews. Some people saying they run too small, some saying they're true to size, some saying they're not baggy. Well look at my pictures and you be the judge. I am 5-7 in height and usually wear 30x30. That's the size I ordered for these and they were very long on the legs, more like a 32. In shorts mode, they hung well below my knees and the crotch was super low too. They are just baggy and big. Very loose overall. Though they fit my waist, they had a lot of stretch so they would comfortably fit me even if I gained a lot of weight. Even though these pants are a size 30 I'd say they would fit a broader and taller person quite well. I will be returning them. I didn't get to try them on a hike, so i can't comment on durability, but the fabric has a great stretch, feels very soft and airy and comfortable. Definitely summer pants/shorts. These would not protect you from the cold. I can tell they would dry off very quickly too. Too bad I did not like the fit and they don't make a size 28x28.
