Fento Badger Hair Shaving Brush and Chrome Razor Stand

This is a surprising set. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Of course, Amazon's return policy means I can try and not worry about returns. This set is well made. The base is heavy. A brush and razor will not cause it to wobble. You can bump this holder and not tip it over. Nothing is loose, the holder came solidly put together. It cleans up easily by running hot water over it. A dry with a towel and I have a bright shiny holder again. No rust so far. Fits my Feather razor and would fit the long handle Merkur. It also fits my ancient Gillette. The brush is nothing fancy but it works well. The bristles hold water well. I can foam up my shaving soap with no more trouble that any other brush I've used. I am not unhappy with the way this brush applies lather. Overall, I am very pleasantly surprised. This is a great set.

I tried to like it, I really did. But the base rubber fell out the first time I took it out of the box, and the brush smells like ripe gym socks and wet dog even when I washed it multiple times with soap and water, and even tried soaking it for a few days in a vinegar solution and then a baking soda solution. It looks great, if you don't use it or pick it up. It's quite the paperweight to have in my shower now...only I don't even need a paperweight in a shower... hah. Very very disappointed.

I purchased this stand and brush after seeing that it was way less than what I had gotten at The Art of Shaving Store. The stand is simple and classy and fits well with my Merkur HD 34C Safety Razor. It can also hold a Bevel Saftey Razor as well. The brush that come along with it is soft and comfortable for lathering. I've had minimal shedding with the brush and like that the stand holds the brush upside down to dry. I'd highly recommend this if your looking for a simple razor stand with a comfortable shaving brush.

This is a great little stand for an awesome price! It seems to be made very well and looks nice. The bottom has felt attached to it so it is stable on the counter. Don't have to worry about it sliding or scratching your counter. The only reason it does not get five stars is because the brush is not the greatest. Don't get me wrong, it is still a great brush! But there are better ones out there that you can get. This one just does not seem that it is made of great quality. Time will tell how it holds up. It is still very soft and makes a good lather though. If you're just starting out, this is a great little combo kit to get you set up.

I am shocked I have had this set for 8 years now. The wood handle is just starting to show a little wear. The bristles continue to get softer, but they still retain their shape and I have not had any issues with bristle loss. This thing has not sat around either, I am a daily shaver, for eight years, that is a lot of use and I dont have plans to replace it anytime soon.

Thought the brush would work better for lathering. Also seems a lot of bristles have been falling out. I've only used it twice thus far though. I may grow to like it more after more use. Seems to be a good beginners brush, and was a very fair price (considering it also came with a stand) compared to the other brushes available on Amazon. Stand works/ looks great.

Never used a shaving brush before so this is all new to me. I do how ever find this form of shaving most enjoyable. First, it takes a bit of practice to work a good lather, once this is accomplished I find that this type of lather is far superior to that of any other form to include a shaving gel. The brush appears to be very well made as is the stand. Thus far I ave been very happy with this purchase! Thank you Fento.

The chrome stand is well made, sturdy and it looks very nice. The Badger brush on the other hand was a major disappointment. I used it once and all the hairs on the brush became matted and after drying in the stand the brush is no longer usable. My advice is to just purchase the stand as the brush is not worth it.
