Bounce
It bounces, below my expectation. It’s to big to hold, yet too bouncy to hang on your hips/waist.

My favorite water bottle for running.

I like this water bottle, it has just enough water to refuel midway through a hike without adding the weight of a normal and heavier water bottle. I did notice, as some others mentioned, that the bottle cap sometimes seems to leak. I found out through about 12 hikes that this occurs sometimes when the cap is not "evenly" screwed onto the grooves of the bottle itself. By way of explanation I have sent three pictures to illustrate the cap screw issue and a potential consideration for a clamp design change in later versions. The 1st picture shows the white bottle by itself and the neck threads of the bottle. You can see where there are 3 distinct grooves for the cap to engage. The 2nd picture shows the white bottle with the installed collar/clamp assembly fitted over the bottle neck opening. Not that the collar covers up the last of the three threads at the base of the neck of the bottle. It also could be that this loss of the last thread contributes to some of those times when leakage occurs. My sense is that the bigger issue is that folks are in a hurry to fill the bottle and they just start screwing the cap on even though it is not lined up properly, and if they stop screwing when they meet the resistance of the collar thinking the cap is secured then perhaps some water will come out when the bottle is turned upside down. One last observation for future clamp design considerations. The 3rd picture shows the collar/clap and cap installed with a normal 1 and 5/16ths inch leather belt which I use to hold both the water bottle and other assorted gear on hikes You can see clearly the pressure "fairings" on the clamp between the inside of the clamp and the belt. Note that the belt is wider than the SPIBelt (which I think is 1 inch in width). My belt is a pretty standard belt width and if the fairings were designed to be located about another 5/16th of an inch lower on the clamp it would much more securely hold the water bottle,...and make the bottle much more compatible with the overall water bottle user community, I think. I have experienced the bottle becoming partially or fully dislodged from the belt when I am entering or exiting a vehicle. Not a big deal to a user but something to watch for when using.

Super disappointed, definitely can't run with this bottle on the belt system moves way too much and was so distracting. Had to order a running vest instead.
