Does Valterra 3" RV waste valve come with threads on tank side?

If this is the one that fits where your poop hose goes then no it doesn’t have threads. There are 2 different styles. The first connects just like your poop hose does and then the hose connects to the waste valve just like before. The other style has to be glued on just like pvc pipes are. You will have to cut off the end of the of the sewer pipe where you would connect your poop hose and then glue the new Valterra valve onto the pipe and then your poop hose would connect just like it did. I would not recommend the glue on style because it is then permanent and can’t be taken off again.

Is the 3" side male or female?

The back side is female. Should fit over the top of the existing pipe coming from your RV AFTER you remove the existing bayonet mount you connect your dump hose to. When mating surfaces, be sure to use PVC cement.

Does this have hub that glues on?

Yes it does glue on. But I exchanged the outside and gate valve section and bolted on the original glued section.

I use to have the one that just twists on . Do they make that anymore? I can’t find it anywhere.

I have cable pull valves on my RV and there is always seepage with these. To avoid getting a surprise when pulling of the sewer cap and hooking up my hose, I installed this apparatus as my main shut off. Works great and no chance of getting unwanted surprises when removing the drain cap.

Our pump went out to our go to is search Amazon for what we need. My husband takes care of all the RV stuff and he found this cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else. Seems the RV stores mark up the products about 2-3 times more. Plus being a Prime member it usually arrives pretty fast. Fixed up the RV so we could get to camping once again. It was easy to install. Works well. Was fairly easy to remove with no leaks.
