Monarch specialties , Traditional Desk, Solid Wood, Dark Cherry, 36"L

I love this desk. It's the perfect size for limited space but still a large enough surface to work on whether you use notebooks or computers or both. It's very pretty. I've used it for a couple months and it seems sturdy for what I use it for (how rough can you be with a desk?) The drawers work great and it's a good height. Assembly isn't too bad at all and the instructions are easy to understand.

Super cute desk! I'm happy with how it looks. However, structurally, the desk did not meet my expectations. The slider for the drawer on the bottom is cracked (the crack is about 6 inches long), and the paint is chipped on the corner of the desk. I was worried because I read other reviews, and a lot of people had some issues. Then I read a review that said they were worried about the same thing, but it came and they were happy with it. I couldn't find another desk that I liked as much as I liked this one, so I decided to take a chance. Honestly, I'll probably keep the desk and just fix the issues myself. I am planning on calling the company, however, and hopefully I will get some sort of discount or refund. It's just annoying that I spend $200 on a desk, and now I have to dish out however much money it will take for the repairs. Note: I ended up sending it back. I had to pay for shipping. Not worth it.

Love everything about this desk .. Arrived in perfect condition ,( a day earlier than expected) super easy to assemble , ( I am a 75 year old Lady ) , solid , beautiful , perfect size . I love the drawers for stamps , papers , etc. and all the spaces for misc. .. Wonderful desk ..

This desk came with multiple nicks in the wood so I shipped it back and had a replacement one sent. The new one just came and it also has cracks and nicks in the wood. It would be a cute desk but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it because of the quality!

Just put this desk together. It looks cute but it arrived damaged (just as other reviewers posted). Desktop is cracked, drawer is cracked and the piece that is supposed to guide the drawer was also broken. There is a number that you can call to get replacement parts, so we'll see how that goes. I will ppst an update after that experience. I will let you all know that damage will be common for this piece because the entire thing is made of pressed particle board (except the legs which seem to be made of wood). Also, the finish is matte and not glossy. Bottom line is this desk is very cheaply made (and u can tell when you touch it, but it's cute to look at). I will keep it because it's more trouble to return than what it's worth. This desk is way over priced for what you get. Very disappointing!

It arrived broken which kind of annoyed me because it took 8 days to arrive. By the time it had arrived it was late so their call center was closed. Luckily I was looking at the instructions to try and see if there was anything I could assemble in the meantime. There wasnt, but I did notice that the instructions said that you could request spare parts at any time, on any day, on their website. Unfortunately, I dont think amazon allows included links but its on the cover page of the instructions which I've included a picture of. Once on the website you can submit a service request or download the assembly instructions. To submit a service request, first you enter hour name and address. Then you enter your item number (disregard order number since the order wasnt palced through their website). For me, I ordered dark cherry color so my item number is i3100 (if you got ehite its i3103). Then, select the quantity of the items you need replaced. Detail the damages. Upload a screenshot of your order confirmation from amazon (which can be found by going to your orders > click on the desk > under "order info" > click "view details" > click "view invoice" > screenshot OR click "print this page for your records" and save as a PDF). Additionally, you need to upload photos of the damages. Finally place your order and they will replace the items at no charge if your servuce request is approved. It took 12 days or so for the repalcement to arrive after submitting my request which was approved in about 24 hours. They ship from Canada, I believe, so it could be a while due to customs. Other than that, this desk sells for $400 at target. In my opinion its definitely more of a $200 desk. The bottom edges are rough and the drawer is weak and falls apart when pulling it out. Im going to buy wood glue to fix the drawer and fill the rough edges with wood putty. Its easily assembled by one person all you need is a screwdriver. The instruction could be more clear though for those who arent too good at interpreting photo instructions.

She asked for an old fashion small writing table with drawers and slots. VOILA!! Here it is! Easy to assemble, will will take about 45 minutes. This is wood not press-board. I found it very sturdy not wobbly. Be sure to screw the legs in. I suggest wood glue with the wooden dowels. She loves it and thinks it looks better then the picture. ITs a great desk at good price...
