Highly recommend. It has a tension brake to keep the hose right where it is. Very nice brass fittings. This reel will definitely last the test of time. When I received it, on the back is a square bracket with like 5.7" space in between for mounting. For mounting on the wall if you have drywall say in your garage and you dont want to cut the wall and put in a center brace. You will need a bracket that spans across the 16" studs to allow you to mount the bracket. I found mine at clean garage. Once mounted up. I couldn't be happier. Looks great. The machining is perfect and all parts matted to minimal tolerances. It's feels study and something that'll last forever. The threads on mine is free from powder coating or rust marks. Did I forget to mention? It's made in USA! Absolutely love USA made products--especially heavy duty machining. Update 10/17/2020: I finally managed to install everything and this guy proved to be a bit of difficulty. Yes, everything feels solid, no doubt. The issue lies in the threading. The hose to the inner barrel doesn't just screw on easily; even for a 3/8th screw. You need to force-thread the hose in. The outer swivel thread doesn't screw in perfectly to the jumper line OR a simple bolt. Again, you have to force it in like you're going to strip it. After all the forcing, it is officially leak-free. That is a comet static 1700 extra with an Amazon jumper line, homemade Continental rubber hose cut to length, kobrajet 3/8 75' hose. Don't ask how I kept everything leak-free because that took a whole 2hr job of Teflon tape and further torqing to make it happen. There's no quick disconnect on the gun because it doesn't make any sense to free it and have to connect it up again.

Purchased for DIY custom wall mounted Active 2.0 pressure washer and reel combo. Selected the Cox over some of the lower priced options due to overall build quality, and a bit more compact against the wall for my space. Reel is very heavy duty, did notice one chip in the powder coating inside the reel, but not with returning for exchange, Will hit with some touch up paint to prevent rusting. Note will need to purchase whip hose to connect to pressure washer separately. I used a quick connect plug to connect the hose to the reel, since my hose already had male quick connects attached and did not have a swivel end.

Purchased on 10/2024. Use it for my home car wash system. I probably wash my cars 2x a month. After 6 months the plastic break broke. Most of it is well made surprised that it has weak plastic parts that broke after 12 uses. Contacted Cox Reel and to repair it they want me to buy pop rivet tool and metal drill bit, watch multiple videos. The other option they gave me was ship the reel back to them and they would fix it. Problem with that option is they will not pay for the box and packing. I would go with something else

Definitely expensive but build quality is top notch I am really enjoying this hose reel. I did have to buy a internal connection piece to connect my pressure washer hose up on the inside but it was available at home depot (see picture of inside of reel) Also I had to be mounted on a peice of wood as it is less the 16 inches wide so you can not mount directly to studs

I ordered the one with the A-Frame base and received a different version. Nevertheless, I decided to keep it. All I did was bolt it to a scrap piece of 2x12 board and mounted it. Luckily, I had the right fittings and an 8ft whip hose. Works well. Holds 100 ft of 3/8 HW pressure washer hose. Just roll it up tight. I recommend using quick disconnects which luckily, I happened to have. Product is fine. 1 star deducted for receiving wrong product but made it work.

I got the last 2 new reels in stock and im super happy I went ahead and made the order for the second reel when I did.. very clean reel built very well looks good it'll hold a 150 5/8 hose no problem with room to spare works great no leaks, 4 bolts to install and start working all in all im happy with my cox reels

This is my 3rd coxreel, i will not buy any other brand, i have never had one to break or bend, use the right stuff and make sure all fittings are tight and i promise you will not have any issues

Awesome reel with a knob that adjust the coiling of the hose or cable. You get what you pay for :)

Well built and designed hose reel. I tried a cheaper reel and was not satisfied. Nice blue finish. Well packaged and arrived quickly.

L'enrouleur est arrivé tout croche, le cadre en U est plié, ce qui l'empêche complètement de tourner. Il est totalement inutilisable. De plus, le service à la clientèle de Coxreels ne répond même pas à mes messages envoyés... Gardez votre argent pour un meilleur enrouleur.
