Even if you consider yourself a semi endurance athlete this product is a must. Great gel products n easy on my stomach for a bike ride along with 2 bottles of an electrolyte mix. Great for long hikes also n need to wash it down with electrolyte. I’m definitely not a vegan, gluten free, dairy free type of guy but this product works. That’s why I buy it buy the box

Strawberry banana flavor, pop one before workout and then every 30 to 40 mins during workout or your preference. With water. This is not a replacement for hydration, more of a boost for quick nutrients water can't replenish. Feel less sluggish after a long workout and more focused when I use product. With other factors at play -eating/hydrating/consistent exercises- less cramping or nagging pains during a workout. Flavor is a 10/10, like flavored water, package is easy to open, product is simple to squeeze out on the go, fits in pocket, sticky on hands if spill.

I've raced for years and gels are a great way to stay on top of nutrition during workouts. Anyhow, traditional gels require us to wash them down with water or sports drink but these Gu energy "gels" are more fluid and less thick so you can easy swallow them. It takes a step out of the process, which is important under race duress. One note: Because they're so much looser than regular gels, be careful about squeezing them too hard when you take one b/c it will shoot down your throat, causing you to inhale some. I did that when I first tried them and it was unpleasant lol. gAck!

I recently found these at a local store and randomly tried it out. I’ll be getting these for easy to put down mid workout energy! They’re incredibly easy to put down when you’re mid workout. They are not thick at all. Essentially a calorie dense shot of energy drink vs a power gel/Gu etc. I’ve tried several brands and I personally like the ease of downing these vs having any need for additional liquids or needs to chew even when compared to “nicer” brands.

Good texture and taste good. Do not feel the extra boost of energy when I am running.

The texture of the “gel” version was difficult for me to get down during my long runs, so this was a great trade! I could feel the effects throughout my half marathon, and it was easy to swallow as I continued running. Flavor was ok, strong hint of banana.

Great for a boost during a long run. Make sure consume the full amount as it can be sticky

Easy to have on the run. No water required. The packs are a little larger in size than I expected, but fitted nicely into side pockets of my shorts. One split a little bit, so be careful how you load up your running belt / shorts with them.
