Works well on strops

I used this product in conjunction with several other diamond compounds. My result was a knife edge that was scary sharp.

I like to keep my knives razor sharp, and usually give them a light stropping weekly when using. With this, I rarely have to put them in a sharpening stone.

Works really well, but just for shining up my straight razor blades. For sharpening, I go with their 4 or 6 micron.

Quickly put a shine on my knife bevel using a leather strop. Took two pumps to cover a 12”x 2.5” strop surface. One pump is fine for reapplication. Let it dry after smearing it around. I’ve done around eight knives with this.

I use this stropping emulsion on our leather strop on the leather (smooth) side. It is perfect for cleaning the knife edge or to give it some subtle convexing after sharpening and polishing it. Its particle size corresponds to 6000 grit JIS (as in Naniwa stones) or 8000grit in diamond Shapton Pro stones, and European F1500 grit.

Recht teuer, aber klappt wirklich gut. Trotz des hohen Preises würde ich es daher weiterempfehlen. Pretty expansive, but it works really well. So even with this price tag, i would recommend it.
