Great quality
Excellent! I use scissors to cut it into small flakes and add it to soup and eggs and I even tried chewing it. Quite good with no fishy taste, but it did mildly taste like seaweed, go figure. I found the taste to be excellent. I found no shells or sand in the bag. By the way these were strips of seaweed not flakes. Perhaps the other types of seaweed the company sells comes in flakes. I haven't tried them yet. The bag came sealed with no holes or leakage. I paid for this, it is my opinion there was no compensation.

High mineral content, organic dulse hand-gathered
Best way to get your mineral intake. Gathered by hand fresh from the rocks in pristine Maine waters.

They're just as I thought they were good.
I'll look for ground it for better results in my smoothies; it has a good flavor, I recommend it.

My favorite, but I never got them.
This is my favorite seaweed. So good in cottage cheese. I was so unhappy that they canceled my order. They didn’t tell me why it couldn’t be delivered. I thought about trying again, but it’s so expensive I can’t afford it anyway.

Good for Iron deficiency !
First time buying seaweed. It's really not for me. I infused this in boiling water ,let it cone to room temp. then refrigerate over night. The next morning strained the seaweed out and drank a cup a day For the health benefits such as high in Iron. I recomend for that reason (if you like ocean flavor)

Like a tasty vegan version of jerky
I was not so sure about this stuff, never having heard of "laver" (though I'd had the sheets of crispy green nori lots of times before), and have been pleasantly blown away by it on several levels. 1), the taste; it's like the smell of the sea, a bit salty and mineral-y and if you like that seaweed smell, you will be pleased with this stuff, though its not as strong as some kelps or some of the seaweed I've had from Korea. 2) texture; it's kind of like chewing on a piece of tough jerky, but one that tastes like the sea. The pieces are not as thick as kelp (think more like a frondy leaf of butterleaf lettuce). I find that they chew up more easily than the thicker kinds out there. 3) the color; dry, it just looks like a mass of dry crunchy dark-colored vegetation. Wet it, though, and you see that it's a beautiful jewel-tone purple. 4) the surprising one for me, the energy: I get shaky if I get too hungry. Chomping on this stuff holds that off. Lastly, of all the packages I've eaten of this stuff, I have only had crunchy "shell-like" things once (they were stuck-on barnacles, tiny; no more than about 4 millimeters wide; there were three in that bag on two different fronds. This granola-esque Alaskan crunched them up and ate 'em. No taste. The texture was akin to eating canned salmon (or perhaps herring or sardines) with the bones still in; somewhat crunchy, but oddly nice in their chalky calcium goodness. =]

Don’t buy this product. It’s rotten
This product is disgusting. It’s completely inedible. I’ve been eating this seaweed for over 50 years and this is really disgusting. It’s all dried out and it smells of a strange perfume perhaps from the bag. I cannot return it so it’s a total waste
