Unfortunately I had the opportunity to test this airbag. Was riding on the track and my tires couldn't handle the lean angle. I went down and slid. I'm guessing I was around 70 mph. Was in too much of a panic to notice if the airbag deployed. Was shuttled back to the pit and I noticed the airbag wasn't fully inflated just puffy. The tether cable ripped from the crimp and the D ring is gone. I also noticed the pull tether on the vest itself is gone too so now I can't even reuse it. I'm sure it's good enough for low speeds like mini moto but not for big bikes. I didn't break any bones. Just bruised up on my left rib, elbow and fingers. Edit: ordered a hitair Y-ball tether replacement and it fit perfectly. I used my second canister to test and it inflated fine. It seems like it inflated hard for the first 8 seconds or so then deflates. So I say you have the first few seconds of impact then it quickly loses air and soft after 15-20 seconds.

I had a dog run in front of my bike while I was going about 40mph. Bike slammed me and itself to the ground. I was able to get up and call someone to get me as if nothing happened. I know this is supposedly a knock off but it certainly did it's job. I don't know how well it would do at higher speeds, but it saved me from fractured ribs and likely neck ad well. The pictures were taken about 20 minutes afterwards and although it deflated some, you can see the areas where in inflates. The pelvis/hip and neck supports in particular saved me from a lot of pain!

****WARNING: THIS FAILED TO DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT!!!!**** I was rear ended on my motorcycle while wearing this airbag vest. I had previously tested it to make sure that it worked, and it did. I got rear ended at around 30 miles per hour. The car then dragged me 10 feet before stopping. As soon as I got up, I saw that all of my gear did it's job except for one; this airbag vest. The tether properly disconnected during the crash, and the cartridge was full. Yet, it still failed to deploy. Because my OTHER gear properly did it's job, I don't have serious injuries. But it's not thanks to this awful, cheap vest. To top it all off, I contacted the seller about the issue, requesting a refund. He proceeded to not take any responsibility. Didn't apologize, nothing. DO NOT TRUST YOUR LIFE WITH THIS. SPEND THE ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR A BRAND NAME AIRBAG VEST!!!

My son races super/minimoto generally 8 races per weekend. He highsided off his 250cc supermoto. Thankfully this air vest did as it was intended to do. We were able to deflate and ready for more racing. Great product...the comparable brands are $600+ Update he has now deployed the vest 4 times. Still holds air. He races on asphalt and his 4th down he slid on his side and head which damaged the zipper to the cartridge. We will reload the best and just sew up the cartridge area and send it again.
