Very Good
it works good, color is alright and thickness is pretty thin but it makes it easier to use. very easy to clean and its stable. i didnt get much gold because im a newbie and i dont think theres much gold in my region

Good to start with or maybe for kids, but the pan is small
I have no real complaints about this kit - I've panned probably 8-10 gallons worth of samples with this pan. It's small - it's about 10", which sounds large but is clearly smaller than what is used by anyone who knows what they're doing. The design of the pan is fine - just note that this isn't a full-sized pan and you'll be working with relatively small samples.

Cheap set
Maybe good for a kid, but this set was really lightweight, thin, small, and flimsy. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re actually seriously into panning.

I like the the look of the sluice riffs in the pan...looks close to a super sluice...nice angled edges..the pan its self is thin but not too thin...don't think you should dump half a yard of material in it...but if you classify your cons down to 1/4 should be fine...fits in a pack nicely...you can see through the loupe if you use it correctly...I can see all the indentations in the metal on the edge of a key...looked at the gem on a ring and see the imperfections...dents on the ring surface and the Stirling silver marking...it is cheap though...but for a beginner pretty cool...tweezers are tweezers the snuff bottle is a snuff bottle...the glass vial I'll use to catch bugs and look at them through the loupe with the kids...for a first pan for me I'm glad I gave this a go...thank you guys I also got the sluice matt and was impressed...now to give it all a go...8D

I think this product is a bit pricey, shipping was a bit slow but the product is exactly what was listed.

This seems like it will make a great starter set for this hobby that is new to me. The kit came as advertised and looks like it should do the trick. The gold pan is solid but thin, so I'm going to need to take the extra step of ensuring I keep larger and heavier items out of it.
