GiGi Post Waxing Treatment, Slow Grow Hair Inhibitor Lotion with Argan Oil, Hair Growth Minimizer for Men and Women, 8 oz, 1 Pack

I bought this hoping to slow facial hair growth. I do think it makes the hair less visible but it doesn't seem to slow growth. I do use it after the epilator but because it is so light, non greasy, fast absorbing and a nice moisturizer, I use it on the other days too!

I rarely write reviews, but, when I do it’s for miraculous results. Ladies, especially those over 40, you know what it’s like to struggle with peach fuzz on your face, and it only gets worse as you age. This stuff slows all of that down. I was using Nair hair removal once per week, and still needing to tweeze in between. I no longer need the Nair, and maybe tweeze a couple strays once per week. Side note: I use Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% in conjunction to prevent breakouts. So worth it! Highly recommend!

I am new to waxing and wanted to make sure I had all the necessary lotions prior to using my wax for the first time. I found this kit on Amazon and thought it would be prefect. It gave me a chance to sample all of the lotions without a large initial expense. This GiGi Epilating Lotion PrePack contained the following lotions: Post Wax Cooling Gel - A cool, clear gel with aloe vera, cucumber and menthol to help sooth and refresh the skin after waxing. Pre Hon Cleanser - Removes traces of makeup, oils and deodorant from skin. Slow Grow - This daily conditioner minimizes the appearance of new hair growth after waxing. Wax Off - Removes wax residue and moisturizes skin. I was extremely impressed with the Pre Hon Cleanser. I have very sensitive skin and decided to try the waxing both with and without the Pre Hon Cleanser. The Cleanser did make a lot of different in how my skin reacted. I was also very impressed with the Post Wax Cooling Gel. It had a great smell to it and did instantly take away the heat and irritation from waxing. I did not find the Slow Grow to have much effect on the hair growth. I seem to have new hair growth within a week of waxing. I am not sure if this is just my hair growth cycle, or the product not working. I did not like the Wax-Off at all. I did not find it helped with removing the wax. After using it, I felt both sticky and oily at the same time and still had the wax residue on my legs, face and underarms. I found plain coconut oil to do a far better jump for removing the wax residue and stickiness. I used an all purpose wax. Maybe the Wax-Off works better for certain types of waxes? I am glad that Gigi offers this product in the trial sizes. I will definitely be buying 2 out of the 4 again, once my trial supply runs out.

I was going to return this but I missed the window. The bottle I got I think is bad or messed up, the wax off is super liquidy which I haven’t experience with is this product before. It’s usually thick like lotion and it almost seems like the product is separating. Pretty disappointed, seems to work very minimally not like it usually does when it’s thick

yeah, about this. II used it once and got a bad reaction from it. I had a rash all up and down my legs. Daughter gave it is a try too, same happened to her. This product might work well for some, but not for us.

I did not think this was going to work but it had good reviews and was not overly expensive so I though I would give it a shot. I am a woman and have been getting more and more chin hair lately. I spend a lot of time plucking hairs every morning. The day after using this I I had much less hair than normal to pluck. I though, maybe it was a coincidence, just a light hair growth day, but the same thing the next day and the next day. I will have to keep using it to see if I get more improvement of my body just gets used to it and it stops working. Will update review if I change my mind. If I only use this on my chin it will last me a very long time. If it continues to work well maybe I'll try it on my legs as well. The product is thick and its a bit hard to squeeze out of this bottle. A jar would probably be better.
