WHAT ON EARTH Collapsible Apple Shaped Bamboo Basket - Kitchen Fruit Centerpiece Bowl Decor., 13.4 x 12.1 x 2 inches

This wooden fruit (or whatever) basket is ingeniously cut from what I think is one piece of wood, plus a little piece for a stand. It will be a fun kitchen counter accessory. It looks bigger than it is; the basket is rather shallow. I have not yet used it and thus can't comment in its durability.It folds into one flat piece, perhaps 3/4 to 1" thick, and would be easily stored or shipped for a gift.

This basket is very well made and works very well. The 'secret' to opening these style baskets correctly is to make sure the hinge pin on the pivoting foot is on the 'down' side, so you don't see it. Then it is very simple to open up the basket.

Arrived broken. I have a feeling even if it did not arrive broken it would probably break in a day or so. Very fragile. Would definitely not recommend for a friend

It's much too small. I guess I should have done my due-diligence and paid attention to the product's dimensions. I'd planned on being able to stick a few bananas, apples, oranges, etc. in it, but all you can really fit in it are, well--a few apples--which is why it's called...a "Folding Apple Basket"! ;-DLove the design and functionality, I just wish it were bigger.

Adorable and functional. This was a gift for my sister who has limited kitchen storage space at her beach house. This worked perfectly since it stores flat in a drawer or cabinet. Should have some instructions though. If you expand it incorrectly it looks like a slinky.

It looks amazing on my table I received the package when I was at work so my son put it together and said that it was easy to do.

We have a running theme of "Apples" and Bamboo in our kitchen and this was the perfect piece to tie it together (along with a dish set we now have). Its functional so its not just there to look 'pretty' its surprisingly strong, and of quality construction.

I ordered 3 of these for Christmas presents and they are really lovely. They are large enough to display 4-5 apples or other fruit on the countertop very nicely. I liked them so much, rather than giving them all as gifts... I'm keeping one for myself!
